Conference Feedback – CVN San Antonio

The Customer Value Networking conference is all about sharing experiences from real project implementations, providing insight into project setup and execution related topics as well as getting some hot information from SAP about roadmap, future functionality and other valuable information. This time, ECENTA co-sponsored the event in San Antonio; the conference was held from October 6th to 8th in the Westin Riverwalk hotel. The main focus of this particular conference was on customer engagement and commerce. The following topics were covered:

  • Customer Engagement & Commerce Roadmap (Marketing, Sales, Service, Social & Commerce)
  • SAP Cloud for Customer Solution Portfolio
  • SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Service
  • Cloud & On-Premise Hybrid solutions

On Tuesday morning, Pall Corporation introduced the audience to its journey within the CRM space: a hybrid landscape comprising SAP Cloud for Sales and SAP CRM OnPrem brings state-of-the-art CRM functionality to Pall Corp’s sales teams. Addressing one of the most concerning pain points of sales representatives, Pall Corp chose to implement SAP C4C for its outside sales force: a beautiful and intuitive user interface as well as full mobile support for iPads, SAP C4C was the tool of choice. Activity, Lead & Opportunity Management as well as customer master data is fully integrated with SAP CRM OnPremise. Thanks to fully synchronized transactional data, Pall’s inside sales people are now able to convert Opportunities into Quotations and process the information with almost no additional communication overhead. Once Quotations have been approved, they will be replicated into SAP ECC for further processing.
